Oh That Face!!!

I have known this wide-eyed cutie's mom since she was 5 years old!!  We just had the pleasure of photographing her 2 year old daughter and it reminded me about the Circle of Life and how it will continue on forever.  How lucky we are that we can document this most important legacy--in the blink of an eye there will be another generation and this little girl will be all grown up--we are so pleased that her parents will always have this memory at this moment in time.     

So Adorable!

This adorable diva came for her first session at 8          months, about the time her older sister did several years ago.  In a few months we will be honored again to create portraits for her first birthday.  She smiled in every image with no prompting--a model in the making! 

Classic

We love the classic clothing of this little sweetie--the portrait, in black and white, could be from another era--it evokes the classic heirloom portraits of an earlier decade.  Creating images of our smiling and happy model was a pleasure!  Her grandma and parents were very pleased with the results.

Loyal Friend

This amazing, talented woman who opens her heart to all abandoned dogs, is the most able of dog trainers at the Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc, no-kill shelter in Oakland.  She is also a dog-groomer who makes sure all the pups looks their best when people come to adopt.  This is one of three of her adopted dogs--when she saw him, she decided to get into rescuing and devoting her life to training others to do the same.    

Then and Now

Jane and I are so lucky to have photographed these two siblings since they were wee tots--they are now maturing into mature and delightful children who love each other so much!  We have the best time in the studio whenever they stop by as their parents know that in the blink of an eye they will be teenagers............. 

Home Sweet Home

This is Monty 'before' and 'after' his adoption at the RBARI shelter in Oakland.  His loving family has nurtured him to be the healthy and happy dog he is today and he has a best friend  Sami who plays and snuggles with him every day!

 

Loving Siblings

This sister and brother came to our studio when they were very young and we took immense pleasure, many years ago, in creating heirloom wall portraits for their mom and dad.  Now, they are back in the area, and posed once again--it was so wonderful to catch up and hear about their studies and careers.  Their parents are thrilled with the results and once again, the images will hang on the wall and this moment in time will always be remembered.
