OH! Those Eyes!!

This little guy is not quite 6 months and we have photographed his momma on and off since she was five years old!  So we are particularly honored (because she now lives out of state), that she had decided that we are the studio of choice to record the growth and changes of her most precious son.  Can't wait to see him again in the coming months when she is visiting family in the area once more............

Holiday Greetings

These two sibs have been in our studio since they were newborns.  We have so much fun with them in our studio and they feel so at home, they run into our camera room without their momma!  This is the front of their holiday card--every year we create something new and different for them............

occasion forever!

A Wonderful Anniversary Gift!

We love to photograph generations in families.  Jane and I had the privilege of photographing the three boys when they were toddlers.  This time the grandparents (not pictured) are getting an heirloom wall portrait as a surprise for their 50th anniversary.  We know they will be thrilled!

They Grow Up SO Fast!

Whether pensive or with a hint of a smile, this high-school student has been photographed in our studio since he was a youngster.  To see him grow and mature into an amazing and sensitive young man is an honor!

Sanford and Mom

This is Sanford with his mom--he was brought into the shelter (RBARI) as an elderly dog with lots of health issues.  His family could not keep him and so this young woman, a wonderful Vet Technician, took him into her heart and nursed him back to health.  Today he is active, happy and loved in his forever home!

These siblings came into our studio ready to have a wonderful time--we played and got to know them a bit better and here are the beautiful results!  Their mom is so pleased and will have two new wall portraits adorning her walls.  Great smiles all around!

Three generations in one heirloom portrait!  The grandparents waited until their first grandchild was born and now they will have this memory forever--we love creating history of our families!

Big Boy!

This cherubic little guy is 3 years old and we have been photographing him almost from the day he was born.  He and his sister are two of our favorite models and it is so much fun for us to watch them grow and mature.  When we look back at his newborn portrait session, we are so honored that we have been privileged to be a special part of their lives!

My Grand-daughter!!

This is my grand-daughter at 4 1/2 months old--it is such an honor to do portraits of this little person who is a blend of my son and daughter-in-law!  Grandparenthood is amazing, especially when she lights up as I step into her view!

Capture the Moments

For her Bat Mitzvah we created an album for one of our favorite clients.  She and her sibs have been guests of the studio since they were small children.  I tease this beautiful young lady that I used to have to bribe her with a lollipop to get her to stay in one place and not cry!

With her sparkling blue eyes and relaxed manner, she was an eager model--her devoted sister helped her with her make-up and hair and her mom was there to cheer her on--and the results are heirloom portraits that celebrate an important rite in her life.

Memories of childhood fade so quickly, so we were thrilled to create heirloom images for the parents of these adorable cuties!  Celebrate your family and start a tradition of portraiture that your kids will pass down to your grandchildren someday.........

4 Legged Friends!

We even photographed four-legged creatures!  Our dogs' mama won a session which we had donated for a worthy cause at RBARI (Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc), the no-kill pet shelter (where I volunteer to take the adoption pictures for all the new dogs that come in through surrender, as strays, or rescued from puppy mills).

We had a wonderful time with these two, who enjoyed posing (of course the treats they received for sitting nicely was a total bonus for them!) together and individually for their close up!!

Beautiful Family

Since he was in his mama's tummy, we have been photographing this little guy.  He has grown up in our studio because his mom and dad realize how important portraiture is to hold onto the past as their son follows the inevitable pathway of growth and maturity.

There is a new addition with four legs and we welcomed him to our yearly family portrait--boy and dog had a wonderful time!

Too Cute For Words

This little cutie pie was so full of expression and happiness that we decided to create a template that her Momma can hang on the wall!  And of course Grandma had to have a copy, too!

Best Buddies

Five years ago, in our studio, we welcomed Emma to the world, along with her older brother, Mateo, soon after her birth.  This year we were so proud to photograph them together (best friends!) and create a moment in time that captured the personalities of these two adorable children.  Remember, you will blink your eyes (so it seems...) and your little ones will be grown!

Communion Girl

This young lady came in for her First Holy Communion and we created a small album for her mother and father.  We love to be part of any sort of milestone that is important to your family--call us to commemorate Birthdays, Holidays, Religious rites, Graduations, etc.  It is our honor to create Heirloom Portraits of any occasion!

# 6!

This little one is number 6 in a big family of loving sibs.  He has been in the studio since he was born to create portraits for his mom and dad and extended family.  That red hair stands out and he is a sweetie--we look forward to seeing him grow and mature and enjoy being the center of attention of his four brothers and one sister!

This is my daughter-in-law throughout her pregnancy and then with my granddaughter!  We put our heads together and came up with the ideal way to show the passage of time in silhouette!  Perfection.......

Sunday, July 28, 2013

We have been photographing this brother and sister, along with their other siblings since the oldest was a baby.  Throughout the year, their mama brings the six children on a regular basis in different pairs or alone, for significant milestones in their young lives.

She displays the images proudly on her 'wall of fame' and is hopeful that someday these heirloom portraits will be displayed in their homes when they have families of their own!

Twin Beauties

These beautiful twin sisters came to us for their Communion portraits.  They were so lovely and gentle with each other and although they have very different personalities, Jane and I could see how strong the bond was between the two.  We photographed them together and separately to create a most important memory for their parents.  Because I have twin sons myself, I am always excited to have multiples in my studio!

Capture the Little Moments

This little one is number 5 with four older siblings.  They have been coming to the studio each year so that we can document their growing and maturing.  Their mom and dad love to share these images with their large extended family and we get the honor of creating these portraits that depict the innocence and wonder of a small child.

Refer a Friend!

This young lady came to us for her First Holy Communion.  From the way she held herself and relaxed into the poses, we could tell she was a dancer and an accomplished one at that!

Her mom was referred to us by one of our clients, and so a referral gift certificate will be mailed out to her shortly for a one-hundred fifty dollar credit.  She can use it for past session portraits or save it for the next time we will be photographing her children--there is no expiration date.  If you refer a friend it will be our pleasure to offer you this complimentary reward!

Then and Now!

This young man has been visiting our studio since he was a small child--every year we look forward to his birthday visits to mark his growth and maturity in a way that will always remind his parents of  the memories of his life as a child.

We think we will remember those small changes that emerge 12 months later, but looking back as time passes, those heirloom portraits become more valuable than ever when childhood turns into young adulthood!

Communion Beauty

This adorable little lady has been visiting our studios since she was an infant.  We have had the privilege to watch her and her sister grow up before our eyes.  Creating an album for her First Holy Communion has been a labor of love and now her parents will also have another heirloom wall portrait to hang on the wall to add to their collection!

Communion Celebration

A child's First Holy Communion is an important time in the life of a family.  We are honored to be photographing so many 7 and 8 year olds in our Studio in the springtime.

Parents even bring their Communion portraits to us, so we might match a pose because these memories bring parents and their children together as a strong familial unit.  Someday, our heirloom portraiture will be available for this little girl's children--as she lovingly shows them this time in her life.

Sunday, May 19, 2013

This little pig-tailed cutie came to the studio for her 'big girl' portraits--so full of energy and expression.  Mom and Dad were totally thrilled with the results and happy we captured her fun-loving personality!

Extended Families

We love to photograph extended families and these fabulous grandparents came all the way from Korea!  We have been photographing them with their grandchildren since they were newborns and it is the ultimate honor for them to allow us to record these important moments in their lives.

Studio Portraiture

We love to design heirloom portraits and this family came in to have fun and relax in our camera room.
Studio portraiture takes you out of the elements--not having to deal with wind or contrasty sunlight, the heat or the cold.

Our clients feel special and pampered. We care about making their experience here something they will remember and portraiture that will last a lifetime of memories.

Loving Siblings

We have been lucky to have photographed these teens since they were small children.  We were honored to create studio images for their Bar/ Bat Mitzvahs and here is the result of our latest get together.  They are wonderful siblings who care about each other--and their parents are thrilled with the results!

Don't wait until your son or daughter is out of the house for good--keep the memories alive with heirloom portraiture.

It's Fun Turning One!!

This little one celebrated his first birthday in our studio, as did his brother three years ago.  His angelic features fascinated us, and Jane and I had a wonderful time creating heirloom portraits for his proud parents.

Sunday, April 14, 2013

Four little cuties all in a row!!  We had a delightful time with these adorable siblings.  So young and so cooperative--we were happily surprised and were able to capture a slew of beautiful images for their proud mom and dad.

In a moment, they will be grown and out the door--call us to create an heirloom portrait for your family!

Help Us Help Your Organization

These two sweet brothers came into our studio because their mom and dad bid on our certificate at a fund raising event.  They won and are thrilled with their forever portraits of their boys!   We just want to remind you that you can ask us for a donation once a year for your favorite cause, school, synagogue, church or any other kind of fund-raiser.

We love to give back to the community, so call us and we will put together a beautiful certificate for your organization!

Family Portrait

When your children are grown and getting ready to leave for college, it is a wonderful time to gather the family for a portrait.  It is such an important milestone and will be a lovely compliment to all those images when they were younger.

Sunday, February 3, 2013

This young man was photographed about three years ago as a young boy--as he enters adolescence and then adulthood, we are honored and blessed to capture these important milestones in his life.

Special Offer for a Special Deed!

This young girl came to our studio three years ago before and after she donated her hair to "Locks of Love".  She just returned for her complimentary portraits because she is again providing her long locks for a child in need--we love to reward our clients for doing good deeds!

If you know of anyone who is interested, please let them know that we will be happy to record these moments for them.
